Dr Roshan Vara
Founder
Dr Vara’s background is in Acute Medicine and Surgery, having worked in hospitals throughout London.
He is currently Managing Director of a busy London clinic, where he remains focused on optimising all facets of patient care and clinical delivery.
Dr Dilan Fernando
Founder
Dr Fernando’s background is in Neurosurgery where he was based at King’s College Hospital.
He currently serves as Clinical Medical Director of a busy London clinic, maintaining a strong focus on governance, safety and operational excellence within private healthcare.
Who We Are
SteriFleet was founded by Dr Dilan Fernando and Dr Roshan Vara, with a mission to address the specific sterilisation and reprocessing challenges faced by the private healthcare sector across the UK.
With extensive backgrounds in medicine and surgery, both founders have always prioritised patient care and safety, understanding the critical role that infection control and validated reprocessing play in delivering the highest standards of healthcare.
Through their experience running a successful private clinic, they identified recurring challenges with conventional reprocessing providers. Services were often costly, slow and operationally rigid. Instruments were occasionally lost or damaged, with limited accountability or transparency in resolution processes. This did not align with the standards expected within private healthcare.
SteriFleet was therefore created to provide a trusted and reliable sterilisation partner for private healthcare providers.
